Hi, I'm Jess!

I am a mom of five wonderfully-weird children, ranging in age from 6 to 15 years old. To say the least, I am BUSY!

I was born and raised in Barrie, ON, and I am currently residing in Kawartha Lakes. I love the beautiful historical buildings and small-town charm.

I have always been a super crafty person, thanks to my mom. It is my goal to honor her by continuing to do what she (and now I) love to do so much.

I learned the basics of knitting when I was about 10 years old, but it didn't really amount to much at that point. My love of fiber arts didn't really begin until 2014, when I found a crochet hook in a box that I was unpacking at my boyfriend's apartment. I quickly hopped onto YouTube and learned how to crochet my first hat that day! I have been crocheting up a storm ever since. Knitting from a pattern was always difficult for me, but last summer, I was determined to make it happen... and the rest is history!

Having a website to showcase my creations has always been a dream of mine, so I am absolutely thrilled to finally be here!
